What is the STCU-TAG?
The STCU-TAG (STC Underground Teen Advisory Group) was developed by the STC Underground to gain vital input on teen issues while promoting greater involvement in the community.
The purpose is to provide an opportunity where youth are able to identify youth-related issues of concern and serve in an advisory capacity to the STC Underground staff in recommending solutions as they relate to programs, projects, or equipment purchased for the STCU.
In addition to the work that the STCU-TAG does for the STC Underground, the group will also be available to 
participate in activities that will further the youth's knowledge and skills in leadership, educational presentations and civic engagements that will help the community to better understand teen issues and culture, i.e. school presentations, public appearances and volunteering, meeting with surrounding businesses to form positive relationships with the STCU and more.
STCU-TAG members' objectives is to become peer educators and contacts in the community, to work on activities that promote youth and involvement in recreational and educational programming, and to promote and convey an overall image to the community about the youth population of the STC Underground and community.
Who are STCU-TAG members?
STCU-TAG members are teens who are currently members of the STC Underground with a good behavioral record. STCU-TAG members are teens who like to talk with people and who are interested in youth programming and other youth issues in the community. They will commit to meeting once monthly at the STC Underground with the Director and Teen Recreation Supervisor to discuss teen issues at the center as well as around the community, and to discuss upcoming functions or volunteer opportunities that the group chooses to be involved in.
